Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to commonly asked questions about UA FPA
What is the application process like? Are there interviews?
Everyone is welcome to join UA FPA. No interviews, and no lengthy application process. Just submit this form and you’re in the organization!
How much are the dues?
$25 a year! You’ll pay them at the bottom of the membership form.
I can’t make the meetings! Can I still be involved?
Yes! There are plenty of other ways to get involved in the club outside meetings through networking events, socials, the mentorship program, scholarships, etc.
Do I have to be on a CFP track?
No, but we encourage students interested in becoming comprehensive financial planners to pursue the CFP® certification, which is the recognized gold standard in the profession. Whether you are in Culverhouse or Consumer Sciences, UA FPA supports students in preparing for the CFP® and exploring all areas of financial planning.
